So what does everyone think of the short rifle seasons this for the deer hunt?

I am glad for the shortened season, I think it will help some bucks survive. But everyone will be more trigger happy when they see a buck. Since they have less time.

I say close it down for three or four years.
The Deer hunt is a joke in this State!

James you say that now but when deer season come around, I'm sure it will be a different story.

Old post but James why should they close it down. Then they should close down the Pheasant hunt and a few other bird hunts. Also the fishing sucks in some places lets close them down to. I don't care if we see one deer it's an excuse to miss work/school and go mess around in the outdoors.
