Hit the Bay this morning over on the North east corner next to he outlet. We had a typical Ice fishing day on Willard. No Strikes no fish.

Keep working at it Skeeter and some day you just might catch a fish through the ice at Willard..... Maybe?
I learned a long time ago that it just aint worth ice fishing that pond!

I think it finally sunk in that last trip. But I did here people catching Walleye and Wipers on the North west corner. I think people are just screwing with me. But maybe not.

It is possible. 3 years ago i got into the cats and wipers through almost 14" of ice on the west dike. it is the 1 and only time i have ever caught fish through the ice in the main bay. I caught 6 wipers and 4 cats that day on Sweedish Pimples tipped with minnows and craw jelly. I had some great days this season in the marina though. My son caught a 15 1/4" crappie along with 2-14" perch in 10 minutes. It was slow but the best quality i have ever seen.
