Sorry slow role. We had a last minute detour to Echo this morning. We were suppose to be going up to east canyon today with Slowrole but we decided to hit Echo instead. I think it was a good move. We were on fish most of the day. I think we probly caught 15 to 20 fish appiece. The hot lure for today was a White Ice cutter and a chartruese feather jig, tipped with a meal worm. The weather was great and the fishing was too. We found most of the fish just under the ice maybe five to ten feet down. Ron tried to catch some pearch but didn't have any luck. The pearch were real finicky today. We did talk to some other people that caught a few pearch but they were all small. Most of the trout were just planters but we did catch some in the 15 inch range. I almost lost my rod today I heard my rod rattle I turned to look and all I could see is my rod and reel going down the hole. I dove for it and stuck my hand in the hole. I bearly caught the end of the handle, I lost the fish but I was glad to still have my pole. So Mike, how was the fishing at East Canyon?
